you sound like you haven't watched him... when he first came he was as good a defender as Lee..who most argue should start over him. but he's a 20-10 guy and the team has to try to get some value.... if all they are offered is cap relief..... keep him let him raise his stock... it won't get lower
but when he was trying on D... he didn't suck
he wasn't good but for half the season he was working on D and Zeke was pulling from games and jamming the post with he and Curry... I can't blame him for the NY experiment... Zeke didn't know how to sub or make a rotationj
there was no player that was going to come in and make the Knicks a winner

Curry, another lazy bum that will fail miserably in the Knicks new system. And I have NBA League Pass, so I've seen plenty of both

MikeDead wrote:The Knicks are a strange team, on paper they look loaded with talent, bad contracts sure, but on paper if your going to simply look over the roster, they look like a team with plenty of talent. Problem is the only one on that roster you can count on giving 100% every night is David Lee.

and D'antoni doesn't even like him.

offensively, he is turnover prone and a blackhole. he scores at low percentages and so is inefficient.
defensively, he is a terrific detriment to the team. he does not play anything that you could even call defense.
his contract absolutely sucks.
there are maybe two teams in the NBA that i would have trade for Randolph, Cleveland or the LA Clippers. in those situations he would have good enough players around him that his faults can masked by his teammates strengths and his scoring ability can better be utilized.
