it's possible to work with him on it. i'm not sure if i believe that he'll improve though. i'm having a tough time believing that some of these Euro players are coming here other than the cash. they don't seem to play to win. Pau Gasol, Dirk, Yao, Bogut ... they don't show the heart during that you'd expect out of players that want to win. Other than Manu and Parker, foreign players have left me very distrusting of taking these guys in the draft.

No Jermaine isn't better around the rim. O'neal shot a very disappointing .439 percent last year and is a career .458 shooter. Not what I would call a dominating force in the paint. Jermaine will post up and settle for the ten foot fade away instead of initiating contact and get a higher percentage shot or get to the line. Jermaine is an older version of Bosh IMO. Again the finances would be a bigger sticking point than many will believe. 45 million to an oft injured bigman is a steep price then they are giving up Ford, a large expiring, and maybe there first round pick. I just don't see B Colangelo making that type of commitment.

how many years and how many times per year have you watched Jermaine O'Neal play?

he'll take the shot, but his game is in the low post, in the paint, and around the rim.

he'll be healthy at the start of the year and give the Raps a dominating inside force.

The Raps need a low-post scorer. Bosh isn't that type of guy. Not to mention JO brings a good shot-blocking game as well, something the Raptors desperately need. I can't wait for this to happen and see the Raps play again.

he isn't a dominating inside force. He is capable yes but he tends to settle for jump shots. The injury concerns, the contract, and his low shooting percentage for a center are all things that I would be very concerned about as a GM interested in his services.

How many times a year do you watch Jermaine? I had NBA League Pass for three season and watched the Pacers pretty consistently.

i like this trade for these two teams. O'Neal will be a great complement to what Toronto already has. Ford and the pick will help add youth to the Pacers. Indiana will be able to be more flexible with their now two draft picks.
