West:

1. Dallas
2. Suns
3. Spurs
4. Denver
5. Rockets
6. Lakers
7. Utah
8. Golden State

East:

1. Boston
2. Detroit

1. Suns
2. Nuggets (Surprise Team)
3. Mavericks
4. Rockets
5. Spurs
6. Lakers
7. Jazz
8. Hornets

1. Bulls
2. Celtics
3. Pistons
4. Heat
5. Cavaliers
6. Magic
7. Raptors
8. Knicks

I have the Bulls atop the eastern conference because I think Gasol will end up in Chicago. (hopefully)

Well, you have to account for the top 3 records then division, but you really think GS won't make it?

I edit it.

As far as Golden State, they haven't really improved significantly in the offseason. They added Belinelli and Wright but they are rookies coming into the NBA, so that's a question mark. I would have preferred they traded Richardson for an experienced big man rather than a project in Wright. They could end up proving me wrong but the Hornets, as of right now, our my eight seed out west.

y'all are underating the Jazz IMO.
great frontcourt, Derron Williams to get them the ball.
If AK-47 adjusts to SF, they'll be very tough to beat again.
Lakers won't be a 6th seed either.. 8th or not at all IMO. They really haven't gotten any better.

I have the Lakers as a sixth seed because I think we'll get JO when all is said and done.

I have the Lakers in there because I'm still holding onto the idea of a Lakers/Celtic's finals

Well, the only reason I'm not high on Utah is because I don't think they will be healthy this year.

that's kinda silly reasoning to speculate on injuries.
if that were the case, the C's are kooked.
Tony allen will get hurt and miss 20 games.
ditto ray and paul.
KG will finally break down because of playing 38+ mins a game for the past decade+
we're cooked.

see, that don't make no sense now does it???

lol, when you have the two most injury prone players in AK47 and Boozer, and a soft big in Okur, then they will get hit by injuries most likely. And with Fish gone, they need another SG or PG now.

still it's purely speculative to predict injuries (unless it's theo ratliff :man10: ) and with one of the 5 best coaches in the league in Sloan, they always do well.
