Not A Good Market For Free Agents

Not A Good Market For Free Agents

Anderson Varejao, Earl Boykins, Ruben Patterson, Chris Webber, PJ Brown, Mickael Pietrus, Charlie Bell, Alexasander Pavlovic...

I'm surprised that all these guys have yet to find a team, Bell & Boykins espescially. It hasn't been a very good market for the free agents this year.

Varejao- Go back to Cleveland
Boykins- Sign with Boston
Patterson- Signed with Clippers yesterday
Webber- Retire
Brown- (see Webber)
Pietrus- (How is this guy still a FA :man4: )
Bell- (see Pietrus)
Pavlovic- (see Pietrus)

You're right, the FA pool has been hell for these FAs. :man5:

Webber was a servicable player with Detroit. I'm really surprised by Charlie Bell and Mickael Pietrus though.

Webber slows teams down. Not many teams run that slow offense anymore. Suns started a movement. As for Pietrus and Bell, I'd love for them to sign with NJ, but we have 2 many guys at those positions. Carter-Jefferson-Nachbar-Williams-Wright. Maybe we could sign Bell, VC needs a better backup than Wright IMO.

Pietrus has been offered a contract in Pheonix, looks like Warriors will not match the offer as he was a RFA.

Golden State was a serious threat in the playoffs last year and now they've made some questionable decisions this offseason, first by trading J-Rich and now not resigning Pietrus.

They still look solid though.

Davis
Ellis
Jackson
Harrington
Biedrins

Barnes
Wright
...

That's still good with what they do. :man1:

Yea I agree...thats a small lineup, and unless Ellis has a monster year, which Im far from convinced that he's even capable of, I can see the Warriors struggling to score points at times.
