Imagine him with Aldridge, Roy, and Oden.

After all the hype surrounding OJ Mayo I wouldnt be at all surprised to see him fall to #3 or even possibly #4 in the draft behind guys like Beasley, Rose and Arthur. Teams with high picks might be a little hesitant to take a guy like Mayo who has had so much controversy surrounding him.

Mayo has so much potential though. He may not have the right attitude, but he's so talented that I'm sure he'll go 1 or 2 with Beasley the other choice. Arthur and Rose are great and both could be stars, but Mayo and Beasley are two guy that could be exceptionally special.

I tend to think that Derrick Rose goes #1 overall regardless. Rose has a ton of potential to be a scorer, but has a pass first mentality which is a great thing to have for a point guard. ESPN the Magazine that I got today had a pretty great article on him actually about how his highschool fans in Chicago hated him because he would pass too much and they would rather see him dunk it :man10:

Mayo on the other hand, too undersized to be a real NBA SG, so he'll most likely be a PG, but he has a score first pass second attitude from what Ive seen. I think it will go Rose, Beasley, Mayo

You may be right. BUT, keep in mind that there are a number of incompetent GM's out there that would pass on the sure thing for the guy with great potential. How is it that Chris Paul was not the first pick in his draft? He was the best player, not Bogut or Williams. Everybody knew it. In fact, Ainge was trying to trade Pierce for the third pick to draft Chris Paul.

Yea your right about that. I really think it comes down to what team gets the #1 overall. If it is the Blazers again (God forbid), then I think they take Rose. Jack has been decent for them and is only getting better. If it is the T-Wolves, I think they take Mayo knowing they have Foye at the point.

Mayo - Definitley the more talented scorer

Rose - Definitley the more talented playmaker

It's gonna come down to what teams have to fill what holes, hell if Beasley continues to play like this then there's always the chance he goes #1 overall.
