Oh. He'll get a max contract. Some team (probably Washington) will give him exactly what he wants.

Washington isn't going to let him walk, even though I think their a better team when he's not on the court, there's no chance in hell they let the face of the franchise walk away. Not many teams other then Washington could offer him max type money, so my guess is he's doing this simply to renegotiate with Washington. Goodluck to whatever team does give him that Max deal though.

Clippers and 76ers were the two teams that came to mind when I was thinking of who could possibly offer him a bigtime contract other then Washington.

sixers would be nice too, AI is good, but in my opinion not a first scoring option.

How about Minnesota? It would be a sign and trade, Walker, Telfair and Foye (or Brewer) for Arenas.

They might not have the opportunity. Corey Maggette should very well opt out of his contract.

I don't see washington wanting him. They already have Butler at SF and at SG didn't they give Stevenson a long term contract and they love Nick Young.

shawn marion is selfish- he wants to be THE MAN of his team eventhough he aint good enough and he cant really score when a PG like steve nash aint passing to him- i dont think you want a guy like that unless your a lotto team :man10:

Im happy this topic was posted as a Wiz fan I think that we will resign him and for some reason I see him coming back as a team player with his assists improving and his points droping a little and if the wiz are healthy I see them as an EASTERN Contender but I wouldnt mind seeing a few new faces in D.C.
