Elton Brand To Sign $13.5-mil/year Deal With Clippers

League sources said that Elton Brand, who also opted out of his deal Monday night, will re-sign with the Clippers for long-term deal worth about $13.5 million a year.

I thought I saw that he hadn't made his decision yet, especially since the Warriors offered him $20 million more than the Clippers.

the Clips offer is something like 5 years, $68 million. the Warriors offer is something like 5 years, $90 million.

i dunno. they're going to have a lot of scoring talent on that team, especially if they can get Maggette back (as well as Brand of course). :man10:

Well, If Davis goes to the Clippers, than I think Brand took a pay cut to get Davis to Clippers.
