IMO, playing in Europe would be a much more useful experience for him than a year at college. He'll be in a much more competitive league, get exposed to the NBA type life, visit and work in a foreign country ... It's a terrific opportunity and potentially a more rewarding experience than one year of NCAA basketball and drunken college life.

He was listed as the #2 high school prospect? This could become a trend with highly sought after high school players. They realize that they can leave for Euroleague ball right out of high school and in a few years they are in the NBA. I'd venture to say that the European leagues are just as tough if not tougher then Division 1 NCAA ball anyways. If this does become a trend, David Stern may have to rethink his age limit rules.

I saw Jennings play at the MacDonalds All Star game in Milwaukee, and he was really the only player that really stood out.

I see his game as a cross between CP3 and J-Will; A more flashy and less polished CP3, and a more explosive and offensively talented Williams.

Saw this on PTI...very interesting. Bad for the game IMO but it's a very smart decision

Personally I think they should stay in the NCAA for at least one year. But that's me being selfish because I enjoy a more competitive NCAA

This is a smart decision by Jennings, they said he might have not been cleared to play anyway because of his academic eligibility but smart decision on his behalf.

The thing i hate though is the one and done players(Beasley, Mayo, Gordon, Rose etc.) It just messes up the game of NCAA ball which i think at times is more interesting then NBA, recruiters and schools spend so much money on these "Highly Touted" stars out of High School and they come in and play for a year and most of the time, unless you're John Calipari come in and just score alot of points and do their own thing to get their status up there which i think is hurting the game itself. This thing needs to get solved, but i dont think anything will happen when the collective bargaining aggreement comes to an end in the 2010-2011 season, although i heard that they might drop the 1 year out of high school rule.
