actually the deal is 5 years $60 mil, with up to 12 mil in personal and team incentives
http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=770905

If you compare this to a center like Dalembert getting 10 mil, 12 isn't to much of a stretch

no, he just has assholes team mates, so he is forced to create nicer ones in his head.

He is undeniably the second best center in the East.

that doesn't exactly mean much when this is the list of centers in the East.

Kendrick Perkins
Nenad Krstic/Brook Lopez
Eddy Curry
Samuel Dalembert
Chris Bosh/Jermaine O’Neal
Joakim Noah
Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Antonio McDyess/Rasheed Wallace
Jeff Foster
Andrew Bogut
Al Horford
Emeka Okafor/Nazr Mohammed
Udonis Haslem/Mark Blount
Dwight Howard
Brendan Haywood

I would of course contend that Bogut is at best the 3rd highest. Whoever Toronto considers their center and then Dwight Howard are certainly the top 2.

If JO can return to his All Star form than yes, I guess he is better than Bogut. Bosh isn't a center by any means though.

Half of the names on the list arent that bad..atleast i think are better than Bogut..hes not a bad player but hes not that great either, hes more of that third option on an offense i would think, but the cash hes receiving is too much they should give it to someone whos proven themselves like Jeff Foster. :man10:

look for Brook Lopez, Kendrick Perkins, and Joakim Noah all to have exceptional seasons next season. i think they'll all play much better than they are currently rated.

Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that none of you have actually seen Bogut play more than once or twice. He has developed, and will continue to develop into a very solid inside presence.

He has a great post game, great passer, out of nowhere has become a 2 blocks a game defender, and I believe he even led the league in charges drawn last year.

I'm not saying he's a super star by any means, but if given enough shots ( not likely if the Bucks keep Mo, Redd, and RJ) he will be the second best center in the East for the next 5 years.

He was definitely worth taking over CP3 and D-Will.......... :man6:

I really like Brook Lopez..hes doing terrific in the Summer League thus far and was doing great in what is one the best NCAAB conferences in the Pac-10 with USC, Arizona and Washington in it. He also did very well against others like the Big East so i think this season could be a good one for him. His brother isnt bad either and i think is a better defender then Brook. Perkins played exceptionally well in the playoffs especially against Pistons with that 18pts 16reb performance, so his future is looking pretty bright also. Joakim needs to work on his offense a bit i think and his actions off the floor and i think he should be alright after that hes a decent rebounder and a great defender(1 stl and 1 blk in 20 mins).

I dont really think so, theres some bright Centers coming up in the East other then just Dwight..dont know if Bosh will play C or just be a solid PF but hes on the list also. So i dont know but 5 years time will tell i guess.

Name one that you believe will do better than 15/10/2.

Bosh is a 4 straight up especially with JO, who might put up numbers close to Bogut.
