hells bells....
i need to gripe.
i'm a pretty decent poker player no limit texas hold em in sit and goes and tournements if i do play cash i'm barely a break even player in no limit but a bit better with limit..
i play live and online- make part of my liviing in fact but have run tino the damndeest bad run on doyles room...
a couple months ago doyles room once again began to take us players...
now i enjoy challenging myself at poker- every site i start at i begin by playing freerolls- signing back up at doyles i entered my first freeroll and won something like 30 some cents.. starting hitting the .09+2 cent sng's till i had enuff buy ins about 10-15 45 cent sng's and then up to a dollar within like 10 days i had enuff to buy into the doyles room bounty...
which i have repeatedly gotten knocked out of damn near close to the money every damn time...
so i dunno, like 3 weeks ago i was within maybe 2 dollars of having enuff in my account to buy into the bounty [$27.50} i've usualy played once i had a couple bucks over the bounty in case i do miss the money i can start over again...
well tonight capped it off i've been on a massive loosing streak all with sng's i've dropped down to less than 2 dollars. i've had bad runs before, but this one is just sick- becuase its only at doyles room where i just cant make the money
I've annalized how i am playing and i'm playing fine,,, just awefull time trying to get beyond the donkeys - and its not a problem i'm expereincing on other sites.. for example. i took a couple days this week to just go to another site where i had ten dollars or maybe 11 left in the account after lending money to a freind.. on that site i usualy play 3 or 4 tables at a time- and was playing 10 cent, 20 cent 50 cent and dollar games all at once- whatever action i could get... bammo in about 8 hrs of playing time i took 11 dollars tops and was up to 54+
now a 43 dollar profit in 8 hrs isnt great u may think, but in another 8 hrs or so i'll have enuff to start playing low limit cash and making 5, 6 bucks an hour which isnt too bad when u can play tournements at other sites and still be makng money there too..
and live.... aint played in a couple weeks, but was on top of my game last time i played. very nice score.. in fact, aint been asked to come back to play since,,, lol so back to doyles.... its just got to be a bad run,,, but boy is it pissing me off....
ok now for a shot of knobs creek and to bed or more web surfing |

Full Tilt > Doyle's Room
Although getting Full Tilt to pay you via certified check is a pain in the ass but I've never liked EPassport and all that shit, anyways it took literally damn near 6 months before they verified my ID and proof of address and all that shit, and the first time I tried cashing a check from the "Republic Of Ireland", I'm pretty sure my bank thought it was a fake check or something. _________________

i like full tilt too, but i enjoy my occasional conversations with mike caro and was actauly busted out by Doyle Brunson in a tourny- now how f'n kewl is that? if ur not gonna make the money, being beat by doyle is the next best thing.
full tilt is enjoying a nice little scandal right now anyways i'm thinking- but then so is ub and absolute-- hehe i lost my first account with ub.. got locked out of my own email account and once i began to play at doyles like 2 yrs ago i forgot all about ub for 5, 6 months and now cant remember how to get back in! |

The only thing I ever liked about UB and PS was that they had 2-7 draw. I tend to stay away from NL Holdem, NL Omaha 8, and any Stud game, I'll jump right in, Hold Em, eh not so much, definitely not online. _________________

i cant win at any other game than other than hold 'em long term so i dont play anything but holdm but- funny part about that, like 6 months ago a couple girls i play online with/against talked me into entering a low buy in or freeroll (i dont recall) pot limit omaha high/low- somethign like 500 peeps or so...
i'll be damned if i didnt make it to the final table with about 40% of the chips i dont even today know anything about strategy for omaha- or how to get the low hand. my only play was raise the pot amount of fold, the entire game. ended up coming in second place..
oh well |
