I think he could be a steal for just buying him. He's crazy athletic and is a decent replacement for Posey.

Yea ive been saying that, Walker and Greene were the top athletic underrated players in this years draft imo..i think the Wizards made another dumb decision here.

Where is Walker projected to play in the NBA? Looks like he has a solid frame and size, I really haven't seen too much of him other then a few dunk highlights.

Giddens is the one I'm most excited about.

He seems to be a pure SF, kind of like a poor man's RJ

Yeah that's what I was thinking, but he seems to have the frame to where if needed you could go small and toss him in at the 4.

Yup i was reading a scouting report and thats exactly what they said..hes an athletic SF/PF kind of like Shawn Marion and Ruben Patterson(like goldnblue said), he would have been a 1st rd prospect but they said the knee injury hurt his stock but hes still amazing im suprised the Wizards passed him up.

he shouldn't have entered the draft. not only was he injured, an underclassman, but the draft was one of the deepest ever.

We really didn't have him any place to play.

Gilbert, Jamison, Caron, Stevenson, Etan Thomas, Haywood, Blatch, Mcguire, STEWIE!!(pechrov),nick young, dee brown?,daniels,songalia...where would walker play including javale mcgee.

Walker is a natural 3 who can also play the 4, so having Gilbert, Dee Brown, and Daniels on your roster wouldn't affect him whatsoever. And you wouldn't have to really worry about getting him playing time as he'll likely be in the NBDL all season.

Why wouldnt we need him? It doesnt hurt to have more athletic players, hes not a bad defensive player either which we need more of..since the only two that play defense are Caron and Stevie.

Nope. Hes pretty long and can block shots but hes not quick enough for the Lebrons, Pierce, Melo..you know.

He runs the court very well though with his size. He's got decent ball skills.

it looks like Walker will have an opportunity to play quite a lot of minutes this season.

Celtic's trade piece in 3 years man10

The Celtic's are like the minor league's for the NBA. We draft great young talent, and then once it develops, we dump it as soon as we possibly can. Sometimes we get something useful in return (Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett), and other times we are just plain stupid about it (Chauncey Billups, Joe Johnson).
