Vince Carter
Rashard Lewis
Chuancy Billups
Desmond Mason
Earl Boykins
Grant Hill
Mike Bibby
Jamaal Magloire
Morris Peterson
Deshawn Stevenson
Michael Finley
Jason Kapono
Dikembe Mutombo
Jerry Stackhouse
PJ Brown

Those are the biggest free-agents this year. There's definitley some legit veteran options available although guys like Grant Hill, Jerry Stackhouse & Dikembe Mutombo will probably stay right where they are.

Guys like Bonzi Wells who have team options or are restricted FA's are potentially available, although Espn is saying that Bonzi Wells & Chris Webber will most likely be released in the off-season, making them both available.

You can see a complete list of upcoming free agents here:

Lewis, Billups and Bibby would be good fits for the C's
problem is all 3 would most likely go to proven winners.
It'd be nice to get Billups back to fix Pitino's impulsive mistake.
Then package Theo and West or Allen for Magloire.

Mason, boykins, Stevenson, Peterson would all be only slight upgrades over much younger talent on the team now.

Vince = poison

Hill is most likely happy where he is, Magloire is a maybe, Finley is too old, Kapono = wally light, Mutombo could be 75 years old, who can tell, Stack ain't leaving a good thing. PJ would be nice for a year or two, but most likely wants to be on a winner too.

p.s. you forgot Gerald Wallace.
it's a player option, but after the year he's had, he'd be nuts not to IMO.

still not a good fit for the C's but then again if you give up on Green, Gerald is niiiice.

Gerald would most likely be offered the most money to stay where he is right now. Not too many teams out there have much money to offer, so Id expect alot of these guys to stay where they are.

I'd make a stab at Billups if possible. Convince him that with our high pick, developed youth, and him and Pierce as a duo he can make a serious run at another championship. . .

Who knows. . .the Pistons aren't the championship team he once played on, granted they are good. . .It's not the same. No one thought Big Ben would leave, so ya never know about Billups.

I think he'd be a perfect fit for our team.

I'd settle for bibby though. Not too into alot of the other guys. . .Maybe Mutumbo, despite him being 50 or whatever haha. He put up such great numbers this season when Yao was out and coming off the bench. Cs could really use a guy like him(or PJ). Plus he'd be a great teacher for perks and Al.

I saw an interview where Billups said something about wanting to play in Memphis so winning might not be a priority to him at this point. And after the whole fiasco when he played with Boston I doubt he'd come back.

you never know, different ownership, gm and coach.
not really the same environment so he may consider it...
but I wouldn't bet on it.
