it's because there is no such thing as a Nets fan (or a Sonics fan for that matter).

about the rose over beasley thing, rose was clearly the best player. they would have to trade hinrich now, but if they drafted beasley, they would have to trade deng. the rest i agree with.

Why would they have to trade Deng? (they might actually lose him anyway, especially with the way Paxson has disrespected him) Deng plays small forward and has diverse offensive game. Beasley plays power forward and has a diverse offensive game (as well as great defense, rebounding, leadership, intangibles, etc bang )

Rose wasn't asked to be the leader of his college team. They didn't count on him at all when it mattered. How can he be asked to lead this Bulls team? Stupid. This is really just stupid.

i dont see beasley doing well at PF in the NBA. he will shine only at the SF position. beasley is no leader either. he cant play D, and some people are comparing him to zach randolph/melo...that's not good.

I agree that he isn't a leader and isn't a great defender, but he could be an amazing offensive talent and great rebounder that can play both the three and the four.

Miami shouldn't have any problems playing Marion and Beasely at the same time.

they are trying to move marion for a true PF though...which is why the Marion to LA rumors are back on.

original one was brand. the current rumor is odom...but seems that either LA is not ready to do it or heat wants a bit more.

no one really likes his attitude anymore...he wants the ball in his hands, and wont settle for being the third scoring option...he basically wants recognition, doesn't care for winning as much. odom's a class act. talent wise marion's better.

But Odom is inconsistent as hell. Marion did not get even close to enough plays run for him in PHX, and I wouldn't consider him to be a distraction though like someone like Artest.

Odom is soft as hell. Only Villanueva can compete with him for the biggest pushover in the league (maybe Gasol).

not really. put odom and 3rd scoring option and he wont be. he got killed in the finals but he was up against KG. good chemistry guy, and unselfish. cant say the same about marion. he was an allstar in phoenix and the 3rd best player and that wasnt enough for him? of course, artest is worse...
