Well, the two best teams in the NBA meet for the NBA Championship!
The Lakers will come in your house and take one of the first two games. You have NO answer for Kobe Bryant and have yet to deal with Gasol in a Lakers uniform.
Be ready Boston! This will not be a pleasant series for you!
GO LAKERS!

I know. The Celtics have no answer to Kobe. I am just wondering then ... Why did Kobe struggle more against the Celtics than any other team this season?

vs. BOS 2 36:53 7.5 23.0 32.6 1.5 6.5 23.1 8.5 10.0 85.0 1.0 4.0 5.0 3.0 2.5 0.0 0.5 4.5 25.0

If you call doing whatever he wanted to the Celtics a "struggle," you're right.

I call 32.6% from the field "struggling". What would you call that?

just looking at his history against Boston, it is not that great. He did very well the past two seasons when we were terrible, but pretty much the rest of the years, he was mediocre or worse.

Lets just see if that doesn't change this playoff season. Who are the Celtics going to put on him?

Tony Allen? Ray Allen? Paul Pierce? James Posey? Michael Olowakandi?

They'll do what they did to Lebron James and Joe Johnson. Have the defender stay in front of the man and help defense limit lateral movement. Try and force Kobe to beat us by relying on his teammates and force jump shots.

Should be an interesting challenge. Are the Lakers as hated in Boston as they are in San Antonio (and probably the rest of the league)?

For people who actually have knowledge of the game, and were around during the days when both teams were relevant, sure. But this season we've seen a real influx of bandwagon fans jump aboard the Celtic's success, and they probably have absolutely no idea what is going on right now, and all the history behind this series.

There aren't enough people who have seen Jerry West and Elgin Baylor try and beat the stacked Celts of the 60's here (like any).

Sounds like many of the Lakers fans as well.
These are two storied franchises in the history of the NBA. To see them again in the NBA Finals is a treat.
Hoping for a hard fought and well officiated series.

Yeah. Most everyone on this board wasn't even born the last time these two teams met in the NBA Finals.
