I think 40-50 is accurate. They have 3 superstars, with KG being a top 5-10 talent and pierce and Allen easily being top 25.
It'll be important for Rondo, Perkins and the role players to be consistent in order to be that good. Next year they should easily win 50+ so long as everyone is relatively healthy. _________________ Boston Celtics Sim League GM and all around Celtic Nut

Yea I agree. I say somewhere around 48-52 wins this season. _________________

i think 50 is a good goal, considering at least half the season will be the big 3 learning how to not be the only go to guy and learning to play together. _________________

Yea I agree. I don't see any reason why the Celtic's shouldn't have the best record in the Eastern Confrence. IMO anything under 50 Wins is underachieving, but either way the Celtic's are going to be a very scary team to play against in the playoffs. They cause a ton of mismatches, and any team who plans on double teaming KG, Pierce or Allen, will have to deal with the fact that there are two other superstars on the team that will be open. _________________

Barring any major injury I think we are a lock for a 50 win season, with the little Ainge has had to work with, he has done a decent job of building a supporting cast around our big three. Alot of this teams succsess is going to rely on how Rajon Rondo responds to the job of starting PG. _________________

| I think they will win between 47-53 games this year. They are gonna have to figure out how to play together and play off one another. |

| Its tough to say. I think last years team would have won 50 games this year. Their talent was better distributed in their starting lineup and on their bench. Everyone probably thinks Im crazy but before Pierce got hurt last year, they were 3 games above 500. They would have continued to get better throughout the season and easily get 45 wins. You would think with a young team they would be better the next year, maybe 50 wins? With last years team, if they had waited they couldve won a couple championships but now they will be lucky to get one. They will be fun to watch during the season but theres about 5 or 6 teams that would own them in the playoffs. My prediction of wins for this season would be 52-56 because their still a better team this year with the trade, but their not a championship team and last years team, and just so everyone knows who Im talkin about:Delonte west, Al Jefferson, Gerald Green, Telfair?, Ryan Gomes, Theo Ratliff, plus our draft pick which we shouldve kept instead of trading it for Ray Allen, We could of had Noah and theres a couple other rookies out there that couldve helped us out. |

| We'll win alot of the games in the regular season, but it when it matters you need a PG who can shoot the ball. Rando is the worst shooting PG in the NBA behind Eric Snow. |

what are you talking about? He's shooting 53% and i'm watching the game and they just showed a graphic that he is the 2nd best shooting guard in the league i'm confused as to what made you think otherwise |

| Celtics will be injury prone, and win 20 games this season. Garnett will get sick of the franchise ( Dont blame him) and leave to the LA Lakers. RAY will loose his shot, and will be a bench player for the Celtics. PP will still suck and lead the team to 24 wins and 58 loses. |

the team from last year winning 50 games!?!?!?
no way that would happen, you can pretty much see the team we could have had in MInn. They have pretty much everyone but west, szerbiak, and pierce, but they have foye who we pretty much traded for telfair. They arent gunna win even 30 games this year, and yes they dont have pierce but really the only player who would have been a starter on a championship caliber team that we traded was Big Al, and some of the draft picks. Gerald is regressing and not even playing, telfairs averaging 10 pts and like 4.5 assists, gomes is only shooting 39%, Dwest has about 7 pts a game and a few assists, wally is averaging 11 pts, Jeff green who we picked with the pick is averaging 9 pts a game
man thats a championship team! |

Why would u want to compete in 5 years, when you could compete now? The Celtics will contend this year, and next year cause I have a hard time believing anyone in their big three will retire or decline greatly by next season. You can't really say that those young guys will be good anyways, what happened to joeseph forte?
