C'mon. They play a great game. Have young players. Although I kinda hate the fact that they only have one player from england in their starting lineup. But he's great. Theo Walcott |

I've been a Man Utd fan all my life. Its impossible that I'd even consider liking Arsenal. They do have an exciting young team tho. _________________

Well I ( and most Europeans) say the same thing about Baseball, Hockey, Nascar, ... I think I am one of the only Europeans that is really in too some American Sports. Basketball is not a big sport in Europe. Maybe just in spain and serbia. But still. There is almost no one I can discuss with when it comes to NBA, NFL. Sad, really. Most of them are only in too soccer. But still. Its either's decision. |

Well I have the exact same thing. But I think I became an Arsenal fan when I was like three because my father and grandfather and older brother where ManU fans. I was kinda of a problem child |

I agree about hockey and NASCAR. I don't have any use for them either. Baseball is amazing and has seemingly has truly grown in popularity in different parts of the US over the past few years. It's probably the most popular sport along the Pacific rim, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and gaining popularity in China and Australia. It is undoubtedly the most popular sport sport in the Caribbean, Cuba, Dominican Republic and Haiti, and then in Central America and parts of South America, it rivals soccer. Basketball seemingly has a lot of its interest in Spain and Serbia, but that's part of the general growing in popularity in especially southern Europe and Eastern Europe, Greece, the Baltic States, Turkey, and Israel.
I actually don't mind watching soccer. I just don't want to get to the point of rooting for a team. The scoring system to me is just too frustrating, and I hate the complaining, flopping, etc that goes along with it (which is also my biggest complaint about the abomination that is European Basketball). _________________ 2007-2008: 34-48

Well, I really don't like it. I think because I watched American Football first.
Well I get why you hate the flopping in soccer buts thats why there are fans to make the flopping player clear he sucks and we throw beer at him
And when its one of ours thats flopping, we try to make clear to the ref that he was fouled. |

Sunderland 1 -1 Arsenal
92nd minute Fabregas heads it in. Pfieoew. But you can't even call it soccer what Sunderland played. 9 defenders in front of the goal and a Striker by himself on an island |
