Bets must be in by 7pm EST on Tuesday

Predict who win each state ($25 GM cash for a right answer and -$25 GM cash for a wrong one)

Predict which candidate will win the presidency ($500 GM cash for a right answer and -$500 GM cash for a wrong one)

Predict the electoral vote total ($500 GM cash to the GM(s) with the closest one)

Predict the senate configuration, popular vote for candidates since there could be a run off or two ($100 GM cash for being right)

Predict the percentage popular vote lead the candidate will have nationally, rounded ($250)

start a thread with Team Name Election Bets

there's a weird football thing with the election. the last Redskins home game before the election has been a predictor of who wins the national election. when the Redskins win, the incumbent (or his party) tend to win and when the Redskins lose, the other party's candidate tends to win. The Redskins have their home game tonight and are playing the Steelers.

a number of the gimme Democratic centers have yet to have their votes counted, California and several of the west coast states, perhaps some places in Ohio, and Washington, DC. Those could have a big change on the spread in the national vote.
