What do you guys think about this rule to avoid massive debts GM's fall into...

Every season each team will be alotted up to $2000 as loan. It is up to the team to use it whichever way it wants to. The team doesn't have to take the loan if it doesn't want to. But the debt must be payed off in exactly 1 full sim season. The loan resets after the offseason back to $2000. No carryovers from the previous season. No longer than that. The debt deadlines would look like this:
Deadline for Loan Taken before Sim 4: End of League FInals/Before Draft Lottery
Deadline for Loan Taken after Sim 4: End of Offseason/Before Sim #1
The deadline to take loans is before the Final Sim (Sim 8). The penalty for not repaying the debt is the same as the hardcap i.e. you top scorer will be waived and put on the worst team |
Thoughts? We could increase/decrease the loan amount but how does the loan format look like to you guys?

Looks good? $2000 is good for me. Increasing it would only mean more trouble repaying it...

Yeah, might just implement this rule this upcoming season. All Teams plz look at this before trading.
