Luckily we didn't offer him a guranteed contract, so it's really a low risk high reward type deal, although if he plays a certain amount of games, I did read somewhere that the Blazers would be paying a pretty significant amount of salary to Miles? Not sure what that's all about. _________________

Yeah if Miles plays at least 10 games this season, the Blazers will be forced to pay him his remaining salary of close to 18 million dollars [9 per year]. This offseason they basically called like every team telling them not to sign him lol.
I'm not sure Miles will even make the roster to be honest. So far Bill Walker has been terrific during camp and is gaining a lot of respect. He got into it in practice with Garnett and didn't back down... definetly shows he's a competitor which is what we need if we want to repeat. I see him as potentially becoming our best replacement for Pose. |

I'm still interested in seeing how Giddens develops. From everything I've read and seen on him, he looks loaded with potential. _________________
