Celtics Accept: Probably seems like a real dumb move to just sell off Granger like this, but that cash will put me up over $10,000 so I can do some serious training on Josh Smith and help improve his outside game. I plan on completely building around Josh Smith, so I need all the cash I can get to start sending him to training camps. _________________

Basically got Josh Smith for expiring contract's and some picks, because I was able to turn those expiring's and picks into JO, then parlay JO into Josh Smith, Tayshaun Price and Darko Milicic.
I got lucky, first I found a team looking to rebuild completely, then I was able to find a team looking to win now. _________________

I'm not going to wait around to try and win, when you get to the latter stages of a league, it just gets harder and harder to win the ship. _________________ The Atlanta Hawks GM |

do you have any idea how hard it's going to be to win once teams like the blazers and sonics get good + crazy rooks like rose come into the league? the teams that win the title in the first season or two are almost always much inferior to the teams that win later on... _________________

Also, if Josh Smith turns into a 25 PPG scorer it's because Mike spent $40K on him, which I cannot do, I don't write anymore. _________________ The Atlanta Hawks GM |

Jermaine O'Neal is better right now, but with the right amount of training, which this deal could get me, Josh Smith could develop into my franchise player. I'm not expecting to win now, but I do think I have a bright future. _________________
