Celtics Send:
Darko Milicic
Darrell Armstrong
DeSagana Diop

Kings Send:
Kenny Thomas
Spencer Hawes
2008 First Round Pick

Celtics Accept: With the Kings loosing Brad Miller, they get a younger, not as talented offensively, but a strong starting center in Milicic, a 2M expiring in Diop, and another 1M expiring in Armstrong. I'm taking on a terrible contract and a guy who hasn't played a single minute all season in Kenny Thomas, so for compensation as loosing my starting center, I get a decent prospect in Hawes and an 08' first which is really what I was looking for. Kings are 28-29, so it's not as though it's a lotto pick we are talking about dealing, and I think they may get better with this deal, so it's probably a mid teens pick at best.

Pretty sure salaries should work on this deal, but King's will need to make a cut if it does go through.

I disagree. Mikki Moore and Darko can fill that just as well at center. Ridnour is a HUGE upgrade over nothing at PG. I see this team as over .500 and possibly competing for a playoff spot. Hawes and a mid-round pick for Darko is fair.

Like KC mentioned, Ridnour is a major upgrade at PG, Moore is playing solid ball, and Darko is an above average center, certainly on the defensive end. He's also dumping a terrible contract on me in Thomas, who hasn't seen a single minute all year.

He's only 1 game under .500, it would take a massive loosing streak for that pick to be lotto.

Why wouldn't you just cut Orien Greene?

I didn't realize that Shelden Williams had pretty good ratings, so I guess he needs a little PG depth, and Darko/Williams should be decent, although Moore has been playing pretty good. Might be a result of him being a scoring option though, I have no idea what the King's DC looks like.
