Boston Celtics (15-42) vs. New Jersey Nets (28-30)
Saturday, March 3, 2007 • 1:00 PM ET
Regular Season Game #58 • Road Game #31
Continental Airlines Arena • East Rutherford, NJ

Probable Starters

West PPG 11.3 RPG 3.10 APG 4.4 EFF + 12.18
Pierce PPG 25.6 RPG 6.50 APG 4.0 EFF + 22.09
Perkins PPG 3.9 RPG 4.40 APG 1.2 EFF + 7.47
Jefferson PPG 14.5 RPG 10.90 APG 1.1 EFF + 19.22
Scalabrine PPG 4.2 RPG 1.90 APG 1.0 EFF + 5.11

Off the Bench

Rondo PPG 5.1 | APG 3.2 | 3P% .190
Green PPG 9.4 | RPG 2.4 | APG 0.9
Gomes PPG 12.1 | RPG 5.6 | BPG 0.2
Powe PPG 2.9 | RPG 2.7 | BPG 0.4

Notes: Celtics have won 2 in a row for the first time since before Pierce was injured. Hopefully they can continue this momentum. Green and Al were the go to guys at the end of the game signalling the change of the guard for the Celtics. It would be great for them to do it again and start building consistency.

Nachbar PPG 8.1 | RPG 3.2 | APG 0.8
Robinson PPG 4.3 | RPG 2.5 | BPG 0.5

Notes Nets have won 3 in a row. This is a winnable game but we are going to have to play very well to do so.

This is definitley a winnable game, but as a fan Im not so sure I want to see the C's win it and extend the streak to 3. At this point in the season wins aren't gonna help us any.

eh...they can afford to win this game. remember, the best lottery spot, going by history, is #3... As long as they finish in the bottom 3 by season's end, I'll be happy with their chances of getting #1 or #2 - #3 would suck.

I wouldnt be hugely dissapointed by #3, although it wouldnt be a player on the level of Durant or Oden, you could still get Hawes, Brewer, Noah or Wright.
