PTI debate...Brady or Cassell future of the Pats...
Kornheiser says Brady, Wilbon says Cassell...
Rumor has it Cassell is in line for an $80M free agent contract...
He will be a colossal bust anywhere but New England...
THE SYSTEM PEOPLE...
Cassell = Brady with two or three more years as THE MAN under Bellichick...
it's kinda like how d'antoni turned nash into a hall of famer, otherwise he wouldn't be that great, which we are seeing this season. _________________

Nah, the difference in skill set between Cassel and Brady is like night and day. I was one of the people who used to think Brady was just a product of the system, and prior to last season he never once had a legit #1 WR. We threw one of the best WR core's in football around him, and he shattered records.
Kevin O'Connel is the future. There has to be some reason why Bellichick would take a QB in the 3rd round when there were some more obvious holes to be filled. _________________

Kevin O'Connell?
Yeah, you're right...if they get rid of Cassell (which they will) and if Tom gets injured again, O'Connell will thrive because of the...YOU GUESSED IT...the system!
The coaches are starting to trust Cassell and Cassell is starting to trust Moss and now he's the first Patriots QB to throw for consecutive 400 yard games...
The defense is total crap so now Cassell is going to finish the season on a tear a la Tom Brady...all it took was some national coverage and Belichick's confidence... _________________

all it took was Stephen Neal getting healthy and as a result, the OLine playing well _________________ 2007-2008: 34-48
