Players to Watch
ImagePierce scored 29 points against the Mavs although he seemed to get tired as the game wore on. We need a big game from him against the Spurs.
ImageWe need Perk to continue his strong defensive play inside and rebounding

Players to Watch
Image Brent Barry always seems to bury us from the outside.
Image Bruce Bowen is their best defender but he has a habit of sliding his foot under shooters and we can't afford another injury.

Key Matchup
Image vs Image
Duncan is still one of the top players in the league and Al is just becoming one of the top players. This should be a good matchup.

Interesting Fact: The Celtics have not beaten the Spurs since January 8, 1997 and have 18 straight losses to them. Tim Duncan has never lost to the Celtics. It seems to be more of a mental thing now and we need to get past that part of it if we expect to win.

Notes: The Celtics played very well against the Mavs and this could go in one of two ways. We could come in and carry that strong play and momentum into the Spurs game. Or, we could come in tired from putting out that much effort the previous night. This game is winnable if we play like we did against the Mavs.

The Tim Duncan/Al Jefferson match up should be good. Earlier this season Al had a huge game against Duncan. If our guards come up with a good game, and Gerald can follow uphis career performance last night, then the C's could make this a competetive game.

Nice first half. Rondo is looking great, and the C's lead.

Wow...we won

Rondo had a career night with 14 rebounds. He did a good job of passing the ball (like usual) and he set the tempo. The C's only dressed 9 guys, but everyone contributed, even Kandi.

As much as I dont want wins, its good to see the young guys gelling and playing well together as a team.
