I just hope we aren't Duacaned and end up with a lower pick than our record.

NOTE: Edit was for ambiguity and grammar.

After getting a chance to look at this team without Pierce I gotta say that I am discouraged. Gerald Green I think was over-rated by the majority of Celtics fans, and Al Jefferson is still very inconsistent. Delonte West will never be an all-star player in the NBA, Ryan Gomes is a role player at best, and Bassy has fallen to the bottom of the depth chart with his terrible play. Perkins has ended up being a complete waste and the only real bright spot I see is Rajon Rondo running the point.

I understand the team is young but Im having a real hard time buying into Danny's 4 year plan. The roster he's put together is straight up awful and even with the best case scenaria (#1 pick), the Celtics are still gonna be far from a championship team.

Yeah, things aren't looking to hopeful in the midst of a 16 game losing streak. All it takes is a few wins to get these guys confidence up though. Winning is just as contagious as losing.

Well for the sake of the future I don't want to see them get a couple more wins this year. All I know is Danny better make some serious changes in the offseason if he plans on keeping his job much longer.

I honestly like this team. A few reasons why:
Big Al - Has jumped to 9th in the league in rebounding. Has been consistently bringing in double-doubles. Showing that when he's healthy, he can be a threat. His practicing backing down defenders and hook shot are starting to show. His only problems...staying healthy, dishing the ball out when he's double teamed, and sometimes needs to be more aware of the shot clock.

Rajon Rondo - this kid is so quick to the hoop, cuts through defenders like a knife thru butter. Has such a good nose for the ball, pretty good passer. He can go coast to coast, get it to the open man. Moves his feet on defense. His only problems...practice his shooting. What's his range from the field?

Ryan Gomes -- such a sweet shot. Pretty good rebounder, always on the glass, fights for the ball.

Perk -- when he's aggressive like he was last night, he can outrebound anyone.

Telfair -- disappointment. End of story

West -- words cannot even explain how much this guy has been hurt. You can pretty much call him a walking injury. If he stays healthy he can provide some pretty good offense.

These guys show alot of promise but they have shown that they really need a veteran presense to really guide them on the floor. Tell them if and when they missed a defensive shift, what they did wrong and how to right the ship.

Rondo's range..hmmm well some night he looks good shooting the ball from everywhere, but other nights he settles for just driving to the hoop. He has a nice touch though so Im confident he'll develop some offensive game.

Telfair and Green have talent. Don't give up on the 21 year olds.

I think people are more apt to give up on Telfair than Green, but you have a point, it is still EARLY in this guys careers. Anything is still possible for them.

I still like Telfair's potential. Its hard to work your way out of a slump when your hardly playing at all.

Ya, Wally was in a slump each time he came back from injury this season, but with a good chunk of minutes, he snapped out of it right before getting injured again.
