Yeah, he's really been providing a lift for the team on both ends. That's really all this team needs. We don't need an AI trade or anything like that as long as some of our youth starts coming around and fulfilling their potential.

Last night, Doc gave him a kick in the butt to get him motivated and I think he's going to step up his game from what we saw last night. I could see him becoming a solid 18/10 man by the end of the season. However, this is gonna make it hell to resign him...

Ah man, is his contract up at the end of the year? I hadn't even looked into that at all.

Might be smart to try and sign him to an extension now and let him know that we want him to be the future of the team

Sweet banner. How did you setup to display it. Did you make it yourself?

I'll put together a sticky for how to put up your own sig banner etc...

Basically you just need an image hosted somewhere online and then use the regular image tags [ img ] in your signature section of your profile. You familiar with all that? If not, just PM me.

Another great night for AL against Denver...a contract extension would definitley be a good idea, it always helps to have a 15/10 big man presence on your team

Its gotten much better. He used to get in foul trouble early but thats seemed to get better. He's solid when it comes to getting position and he runs well for a big man. His biggest upside is his offense and his quickness though, he's got some great post moves and a pretty lookin hook shot

Yeah, it would be horrible if he left as a free agent to somewhere else. This guy has a very good future ahead of him. He already has some really good moves down low.

The earliest that Jefferson can become a unrestricted FA is 09-10
He is already under contract for next year. So it is the next summer(08) that we have to decide wether or not to lock him up long term or not.

Al is practically averaging a double double in under 30 minutes a game. The guy is an absolute beast. The Celtics need to lock him up for life. He's going to be a huge key to any success they have over the next 10-12 years.

He's really put in the needed work over the off season.
Last season: 7.9 PPG, 5.1 RPG, .8 BPG
This season: 13.1 PPG, 9.6 RPG, 1.5 BPG

I wonder if the Raptors are still glad they took Rafael Araujo over him at #8 :man10:

The Raptors got screwed! I go to BYU and I'll tell ya what, Araujo looked like a great player as long as you only saw him once or twice. Anybody who watched him consistently saw the incredible lack of athleticism. He was a tall guy, with a big body and honed post moves. That was great for college ball, but there was no way he was gonna make the leap. We all figured the Jazz would take him late in the first round just to appease the hometown fans, then he disappeared at #8 and the bust began.
