UK fan with spare tickets

Postby bakerbj on Sat Dec 13, 2008 7:03 am

My wife arranged for us to spend xmas with her brother in canada, I managed to get her to allow us to come via Boston to forfill a dream to watch the celtics play.

Slight problem is that she purchased the picket on line but the PC crashed near the end, so she wasnt sure if she got them she brought another set, just in case !!!!!.

Now i have 4 spare tickets for the game, not in the best place to be honest 307. but tickets all the same.

Could I sell the tickets at the gound, do people do that over there ? we do here in the UK ?

Any help would be great. We leave in the next 2 days so ebay ect is not an option

you could sell them at the game. there are laws prohibiting someone from selling the ticket above the price marked on the ticket. you'll have to sell it at that price or below it.

You can sell the tickets for face value anywhere outside of the Garden, and you'll have absolutely no problem finding someone willing to buy them, and you won't run the risk of getting yourselves in any trouble. To be honest you could draw much more then you paid for them, but if your just looking to get rid of them quickly, I'd say just sell them for face value, because there are dozens of scalpers outside the Garden, hours before tip off, all selling tickets at inflated prices. You'll have an easier go of it just unloading them for what you paid.
