Ok I know there's only a few real C's fans here, however with the recent firing of The Cooz many C's fans from the Boston Globe are uniting to tell comcast.. "Bull Shit"

Please come over to the globe and show your support for Celtic Tradition and The Cooz and join us in our boycott...

Tommy is next too. Only doing home games now. Donny is definetly being prepared to become full time commentator.

Tommy's doing just the home games due to his wife's failing health. The way Comcast handled Cousy's dismissal is shameful however.

The reality is, at some point, Thje Cooz would become unable to do the job- same for Tommy. Age and the consequenses thereof are impossible to avoid and will eventualy claim, Tommy, Cooz, Russel and all the old guard, eventauly Bird, Mchale and even todays players will grow old and leave us. However for someone like The Cooz, a longtime employee of the company and someone so closely associated with the Celtics, there ought to have been a lot more respect and honor given.

I read that he was let go a few days ago because Comcast is now enforcing a "two-person-booth" policy, and it's definitely a shame, and a load of horse shit if you ask me.

Anyway we could get a list of sponsors and advertisers?

mike we're working on it now...

i expect a list within a few days..

and i personally am calling the boston globe to remind them of our plans- its their message board that gave rise to the idea- and we're going natinal and international in the campaing to complain to them and their sponsers.

other sources too- such as aarp will be contacted, as it does sort of look like maybe Bob's age could have something to do with the letting go... in which case AArp would be a bad organization to piss off....

comcast has shown no respect to Boston and its fans of its teams. They're also the folks behind the BS of SpyGate last year in the NFL through their backing of Arlen Spencer to create trouble and embarrass the NFL.

Completely off topic Matty, but if you have a bankroll at Full Tilt, you have to give the new Matrix Sit and Go's a try. NL Holdem, 4 table sit and go's, with knock out bounty as well as top 3 cashes for every table. I've played in 4 since I woke up, cashed in every one. It's great cause you can play loose and go for the busts on 2 tables, and play for the top 3 on the other 2.

i may have to make a deposit there... my bankroll got hammered there last time i played

yesterday was a letdown

$5 + .50 6 seat sng i took first

4 table $8 + .80 got knocked out on bubble after being chip leader for last hour, lost lead and 5 hands later was gone ( a loose player took most my stack after calling with this hand {Ac 10C me) 23,000 (Kh 3h him) around 17,000 he was in late position and called. i was big blind (sb=200/bb-400) and popped it up 3 X's BB he called. flop was Ah 10s 8?

I liked the flop but realized theres a some straight draws he could be looking at so i make it a grand to go... he pops it back up tothe size of the pot... I stop and think- does he have something? Thinking back he's done this several times with bottom pair. I call

@ this point i'm positive i have best hand and decide that unless a card that could help him with a draw comes up on tun i'm going all in.

turn- like 2 or 4 of hearts.. I movve all in...

Bastard calls on a heart flush draw! I see his cards and can only think,,, wtf was he playing that for (especialy after the flop???)... of course as i'm thinking that he gets his flush on the river and i'm down to arouund 6k in chips...

6 seat sng $5. + .50 knocked out on bubble my AK o s gets called by 66

a freind called me around 11 and wanted to chat so i logged back in and played a $1. + .10 10 seat sng where i took second as she decided to join our writing campain us celtic fans are getting together

Nah, after you sign they try and ask for a donation, but once you get past the first signing page, your done. The $ thing is just them asking for donations or some bullshit like that.
